With a population of 700,000, Durham is home to eight municipalities – Ajax, Brock, Clarington, Oshawa, Pickering, Scugog, Uxbridge, and Whitby – each with something new and interesting to explore.

The three largest municipalities, by population, are Oshawa, Whitby, and Ajax.

Oshawa

Ajax

Ajax is a progressive and diverse waterfront community. With a focus on environmentalism, the Town of Ajax offers plenty of conservation areas, parks, and nature trails.
