You have the following choices with respect to your personal information:

As required by applicable law, Ourboro will obtain your consent before, or when, we collect, use, transfer and/or disclose your personal information. By accessing and interacting with our Website, by applying, registering and using our Services, or otherwise interacting with us, you consent to the collection, use, transfer, and disclosure of your personal information by Ourboro in accordance with the terms of and for the purposes set out in this Policy, as they may be amended from time to time. We may collect your personal information when you fill out forms on our Website, sign up to receive newsletters, or interact with our “Get An Estimate” feature. Such personal information may include your first and last name, your email address, and other demographic and financial information (i.e. amount of money saved for down-payment; approximate household income; whether you are a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident).
Once you have completed the “Get An Estimate” feature, if you are interested in receiving your estimate, we will ask you to create an account by providing your email address and choosing a password.

We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Website (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Website that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.
We use “cookies” to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Website and Services. Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your computer’s hard drive.

We collect information about your desired property that includes desired built form, location, maximum purchase price, whether you are a first time homebuyer, current living situation, condition of home that you are interested in, desired length of time you expect to stay in the home, your buying timeline and where you are in the home buying journey.
We collect personal information including address, contact information, date of birth, citizenship or residency status.
We collect financial information that includes total savings for down payment and closing costs, approximate pre-tax income, employment status, length of employment and your profession. If you are purchasing a home with a partner, we collect the same information for them as well. We also collect information as to whether you’ve previously been approved for a mortgage, your estimated monthly debt payments and your estimated credit score.
We may also collection information related to your real estate agent, if you are already working with one.
- We collect such information in order to qualify you for our Services and to facilitate your purchase of a property. We also use this information to determine additional supports or programs we may offer you once you are living in your home.
- Information collected when you otherwise interact with us.
- We may collect personal information from you through other online and offline interactions, such as through telephone calls, in-person meetings or emails. We will use such personal information in order to respond to your inquiries and/or the reason you contacted us.

- STORAGE, CROSS-BORDER TRANSFER AND SAFEGUARDING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We take precautions in an effort to protect your information. When you submit personal information via our Website or during the provision of Services, we have implemented standard physical, technical and organizational security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information in an effort to protect such information from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure.
We further protect personal information by restricting access to it to those employees that require access to the information in order to provide our Website and Services.
Please note that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Personal Information is stored on Google Cloud (cloud-hosting service) located on their northamerica-northeast2(Toronto) server.
Ourboro may transfer personal information to a service provider which is located outside of Canada where privacy laws may offer different levels of protection from those in Canada. Your personal information may also be subject to access by and disclosure to law enforcement agencies under the applicable foreign legislation.
- RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We keep your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and to meet our legal and contractual obligations. The length of time we retain information varies, depending on the purpose for which it was collected and the nature of the information. This period may extend beyond the end of your relationship with us but it will be only for so long as it is necessary for us to have sufficient information to respond to any issues that may arise at a later date.
We will destroy, erase or make anonymous documents or other records containing personal information as soon as it is reasonable to conclude that the original purpose is no longer being served by retention of the information and retention is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes. We will take due care when destroying personal information so as to prevent unauthorized access to the information.
- MANAGING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
- Ourboro permits the reasonable right of access to your personal information. Upon written request and authentication of identity, we will provide you with access to your personal information under our control, subject to any legal requirements and applicable exceptions to the right of access. Where an access request is refused, we will notify you in writing and provide our rationale for refusal along with a list of next steps available to you.
- If you demonstrate the inaccuracy or incompleteness of personal information, we will amend the information as required. If appropriate, we will send the amended information to third party service providers to whom the information has been disclosed.

Ourboro has no control over such third-party websites and resources, and you acknowledge and agree that Ourboro is not responsible for the content or information contained therein. When you follow such a link, you are no longer protected by our Policy, and we encourage you to read the privacy statements or other disclaimers of such other parties. Ourboro is not responsible for the privacy or security practices or the content of external websites, services or products.
Ourboro’s website uses YouTube’s API services in connection with embedding video thumbnail images and descriptions provided by YouTube LLC (“YouTube”). As such, you acknowledge and agree that by accessing the videos linked through the embedded video thumbnail images and descriptions, you are also bound by YouTube’s Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy. Using YouTube’s offering requires a connection to be established to YouTube’s servers in the United States. During this process, certain information is transmitted to YouTube. We do not control the collection, storage or use of any of your information by YouTube and do not have access to any information collected. In order to use our Services, you must apply and register with us. Accordingly, Ourboro does not knowingly permit persons under the age of 18 (or age of legal majority) to register for use of our Services, and does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information of such individuals.
